Spectacular Opening Ceremony lights up Abu Dhabi for the Special Olympics held at Zayed Sports City from 14-21 March 2019. The event was attended by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, who hailed organizers of the Special Olympics World Games for helping to share the country's "humanitarian message" with the world.

This global event aims to empower and activate the role of people-of-determination in society, encourage and support them in the exercise of various sports activities. During the Olympics, Starkey booth welcomed tens of people with special needs and hearing challenged where the professional audiologists and hearing specialists of Star Key Hearing team have conducted various hearing tests and donated free hearing aids based on the sense of social responsibility.

Starkey booth was honored by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan visit. The team introduced the advanced hearing technology and the latest hearing aids for his highness who commended the efforts made for improving the hearing industry that helps people live better lives.
